Resolution 2728 (2024) — Demand for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza
Adopted 25 March 2024, Resolution 2728 demanded an immediate ceasefire for the month of Ramadan leading to a lasting sustainable ceasefire, and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. The United States abstained; the resolution carried 14–0–1.
